Meet Josh and Lauren
We’re the husband-and-wife team behind Wynter Group, helping business owners and busy professionals build long-term assets through hands-free property investment in Leeds.
Having balanced demanding careers with family life, we understand why property can stay on the “one day” list. You want to explore the possibilities, but finding time to research locations, assess the figures and manage the work is another matter.
We bring together Josh’s 20 years in construction and Lauren’s 19 years in project management and marketing to provide a planned, coordinated approach built around your goals.

Why We Started Wynter Group
Our property journey began alongside the careers we had worked hard to build, with a shared ambition to create long-term assets and more choice for our family’s future. What started alongside our work grew into a passion—and today, Wynter Group is our full-time focus.
Our own property projects gave us practical experience of the decisions behind a purchase, the work involved in refurbishment and the importance of realistic budgets. They also showed us how much planning and coordination happens behind the scenes.
That experience shaped the service we wanted to build. Many business owners and professionals want to explore property, but have limited time to research areas, assess opportunities or oversee the work.
Wynter Group brings those responsibilities together through a hands-free service. We start with what you want to achieve, create a bespoke strategy and coordinate the process—keeping you informed and involved in the decisions that matter.
Why Wynter?
Wynter Group is named after our daughter, Wynter.
Her name reflects the reason we began our property journey: building a future for our family and creating more choice over how we spend our time.
As the business became our full-time focus, that motivation stayed with us. We’re building something we’re proud to put her name to, with care in the work we do and responsibility for the decisions we make.
We also recognise that your reasons for investing are personal. You may want more time with your children, assets outside your business or the option to step back from work in the future.

Josh — Construction Experience Behind the Detail
Josh brings 20 years of construction experience and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). Throughout his career, he has managed construction packages worth over £70 million and teams of more than 100 people.
That responsibility involved detailed planning, budget control and keeping work moving through complex programmes. It required understanding how individual decisions affect cost, quality and delivery.
Alongside his construction career, Josh gained hands-on experience through property projects, including refurbishment and new-build development. Today, property is his full-time focus at Wynter Group.
His background shapes the questions we ask before progressing a property. What work is needed? Is the refurbishment allowance realistic? What requires further investigation? How will the work be organised?
For our clients, this means a considered approach to assessing property condition, reviewing costs and planning refurbishment—with clear explanations before you make the key decisions.
Lauren — Planning, Organisation and Clear Communication
Lauren brings 19 years of experience across project management, product management and marketing. Her career involved turning ideas into practical plans, coordinating people and managing the details needed to move projects forward.
Today, she applies those skills to Wynter Group, supporting the organisation and communication behind each stage of the property investment process.
From understanding your goals to coordinating next steps and keeping you updated, Lauren helps ensure you know what is happening, what needs your input and what comes next.
Her marketing background and eye for design also inform how we consider a property’s presentation and appeal to prospective tenants, alongside its practical requirements.
Working with Josh, Lauren brings a complementary perspective: detailed planning, clear communication and attention to how the property will be used.
